In 2011, Godu productions is airing four series on television and online, Beyond The Lane, Ski The Himalayas, Life is Reel and Team High Maintenance engage a hard to reach audience with real stories told in a quality documentary style for broadcast. Godu delivers in feature length, 44 minute, and 22 minute formats for television broadcast airings and online in 10 minute or shorter episodes. Godu Productions programming began with the release of Everest: The Other Side, an 84 minute documentary film that aired on Dish Network Pay Per View in 2005 and chronicled the 2003 ascent of 23 year old Ben Clark. Early adopters to iTunes led this show to become one of the most critically acclaimed series in the iTunes podcast library through today. The Rest of Everest won Best Video Podcast of the Year within iTunes for several years in a row starting in 2006 and is still premiering episodes today. Everest: the Other Side was rereleased in January 2011 on Comcast XFinity VOD and Dish Network PPV. Proof that timeless stories can be told in more than one way.
